"Where's my husband?
He's dead. Your friends were right. Ronnie Raymond sacrificed himself to the storm in the Singularity, gave his life to its power, his future to ensure its demise. But in that uncontrollable, irreversible chaos, his death gave me life. Now I'm something greater, something beyond death. I am Deathstorm.

Trivia[]

  • Allegra told Chester the phrase "noche mas negra" which means "the blackest night", which is most likely a reference to the DC Comics crossover storyline, the 'Blackest Night'.
  • In a flashback, Ronnie tells Caitlin "we need to stop trying to recreate the past, and focus on the future." This foreshadows the reveal of Deathstorm, as Caitlin is trying to recreate the past by resurrecting him.
  • Chester uses the expression, "Great Otis Boykin!" Otis Boykin was an African-Amerian electrical engineer who invented resistors and electrical control devices used in guided missiles, computers, transistor radios, and pacemakers.
  • Caitlin mentions wanting to go to Mapleville, referencing Adventure Comics #461 (1978) "The Multiple Murders of Mapleville," in which on a trip through a small town with Iris, Barry Allen is somehow compelled to use a gun on a man, and is framed for murder.
  • S.T.A.R

One picture of S.T.A.R. Labs (Earth-Prime) looks like this.

A picture of S.T.A.R. Labs, seen in a particular shot, is the same view of the Cortex in a reality called 'Doomworld', as shown in its respective episode. It also resembles a shot of Ramon Industries, using the same building. S.T.A.R. Labs in the Legion of Doom's alternate reality
  • This is the first episode of the Flash to feature Robbie Amell portraying Ronnie Raymond or his likeness since Season 3 'Into the Speed Force'.
