An unnamed man, often referred to by such names as the "man in yellow" or the "man in the lightning", is the murderer of Nora Allen, and an apparent metahuman.

Biography

Almost nothing is known of this man including his real identity or motives. In 2000 The man circled Nora Allen in a blur, before stabbing her directly in the heart with a knife.He took her son Barry blocks away and made it seem to the police as if her husband Henry had murdered her.

In 2014, the man reappeared and threatened the life of Joe West's daughter Iris by stabbing a similar knife into her photograph, to scare Joe away from investigating Nora's murder.

Powers and abilities

• Superhuman speed: The man in the yellow suit can move and react at crazily insane speeds that are incomprehensible and undetectable, allowing him to dodge any attack, travel anywhere around the world instantly, and land multiple hits on someone before they can react. He's significantly faster than Barry currently.

• The man in yellow resembles the suit worn by various characters called the "Reverse Flash" (first "Professor Zoom", then "Zoom"), villains who share the Flashes' super-speed. Eddie Thawne shares a similar name to the Reverse Flash's true civilian name Eobard Thawne, but whether this is intentional or coincidence is unknown.
