At some point in time "Riddler" became a notorious criminal in Gotham City.[2]
Catherine Hamilton-Kane mentioned Riddler when forcefully reading Alice's speech. She said that the real villains in Gotham weren't the criminals like Riddler and the Joker, but people like her.[2]
New multiverse
Arthur Brown, as the Cluemaster, has a low opinion of the Riddler. During a video, Cluemaster criticized Riddler's costume and intellect as inferior to his own.[1]

- In the DC Comics, the Riddler is a super-villain enemy of Batman, named Edward Nigma, who commits crimes revolving around an obsession with riddles.
- It is currently unknown if the Arkham Asylum patient E. Nigma and the unnamed riddler mentioned by Tommy Elliot are the Arrowverse's version of the Riddler.
