Detective Rivers was working the case after Nia Nal called the police to inform them of a hate crime against her roommate Yvette that had occurred the previous night at the club they attended. Rivers went to the women's apartment and got a sketch of the suspect. He promised that he would do his best in the investigation.
The next day, Detective Rivers received a call from Nia, asking about his progress; not much had happened yet in his investigation.
A few days later, Barney Fife put together a full list of names behind the attack, ready for him. He thanks the man for his work, before taking the information inside.[1]
