Ron Troupe is a journalist for The Star City Star and a former journalist of the Star City Sentinel.

In the new multiverse, Ron Troupe is a journalist for the Daily Planet. One of his most famous works was his reporting on Superman when he first appeared.

Biography

Original multiverse

Star City

Ron Troupe wrote an article for the Starling City Sentinel detailing Holder Group's acquittal of charges for selling faulty smoke defectors.[1] Sometime afterwards, he became a journalist for The Starling City Star

Troupe wrote an article on Scott Morgan having his plant initiate brownouts in The Glades.[2] He later covered Peter Declan's impending execution for The Starling City Star.[3] Troupe was among those who wrote a piece on Adam Hunt's loss with Hunt Multinational.[4]

In early 2013, Troupe reported that Thea Queen could be facing trial for a DUI.[2]

Anti-Monitor Crisis

During the Anti-Monitor Crisis, Ron Troupe as well as everyone in the multiverse except for the seven Paragons, was killed in an antimatter wave by the Anti-Monitor on December 10, 2019,[5] only to be restored a month later, after the Paragons and the Spectre created a new universe.[6]

Metropolis

Ron Troupe is a journalist for Daily Planet. He frequently reported on Superman's actions as a hero of which multiple journalists and reporters were clamoring to also report, much to the annoyance of Lois Lane. One of his works was when Superman saved a sinking boat in Hobbs River, of which Jimmy Olsen took a photo. He excitedly hoped that his Pulitzer Prize was coming soon. [7]
