Sheriff Ronald Collins was a corrupt sheriff in Midvale in 2007. He was revealed to have been the killer of Kenny Li.

Biography

R. Collins was a sheriff in Midvale. He was revealed to be involved in some drug deals to earn more money. Sometime before Kenny Li's death, Kenny took a picture of Collins being involved in a drug deal. Collins found out and murdered Kenny.

After Kenny's death, Alex and Kara started to investigate Kenny's death, when they were investigating in the woods, they found Kenny's laptop. Since most of the pictures on the computer were encrypted. While checking Kenny's computer, Kara suggests they send the files to a friend of hers named Chloe to decrypt the files. They also found a picture of Mr. Bernard and Alex's best friend Josie kissing on a email sent from Kenny saying "I know". to Mr. Bernard.

Knowing that Alex and Kara might know about the picture Kenny taken, Sheriff Collins tried to kill them by running them over with a dark coloured, four door Sedan.

Alex goes to the stadium during a game to find Sheriff Collins for help thinking that he can help her solve the murder of Kenny. Sheriff Collins tells Alex to go inside the stadium with him to talk in private.

Meanwhile, Kara gets the encrypted files back from Chloe and realises that. Sheriff Collins was involved in a drug ring and calls Alex. Realising that Alex knew about the picture, Sheriff Collins points a gun at her, and says "I am really sorry about this".

Sheriff Collins tries to threaten Alex so she can give him the laptop, Alex asks why is he doing this, he reveals that he is sick of protecting "spoiled rich folks", smuggling drugs from Canada can give him a lot more money, he think that he did a lot of things for the world, why not give something back for himself?.

Meanwhile, Kara decides to use her powers to save Alex. Alex shouts and Kara breaks the wall and the debris of the wall hit Sheriff Collins in the head leaving him unconscious. He was then arrested and imprisoned.

After solving the murder, Kenny's parents found Kenny's telescope in Sheriff Collins' car, his mom gives the telescope to Kara and Alex as a thank you gift.

11 years later, Collins was released on parole and moved to National City, where he was confronted by Alex, as she suspected him of trying to kill her.^[1]
