After joining the False Face Society, Rudy used the announcement on Kate Kane's disappearance to lure her father, Jacob Kane, to him, later attempting to goad newcomer Kevin Johnson into killing Jacob in order to prove himself to the gang. He failed when Batwoman arrived on the scene to stop Rudy and take him down.[1]

- The veracity of what Rudy said about seeing Kate Kane get on her plane before her disappearance is unverifiable, as it could have been said merely to distract Jacob long enough for Kevin to attack.
