Russia, officially the Russian Federation, is a country in northern Eurasia on Earth-1. The official and national language spoken in Russia is Russian.

History

Koshmar.

A prison named Koshmar (also known as Nightmare Gulag) was built in the 18th century in Moscow, Russia, as the fifty-fourth labour camp.

At some point, a powerful mafia organization named Solntsevskaya Bratva was formed in Russia.

In the 1970s, Vandal Savage defected to the Soviet Union (a precursor to capitalist Russia) to use their resources to create his own version of Firestorm. For the next 11 years, he was unable to balance the equation of Firestorm and many test subjects died as a result. Savage eventually employed Russian physicist Dr. Valentina Vostok who came closer to solving the equation but still lacked the skills to achieve the final step.

So, the Legends traveled to Russia in 1986 to try to stop them.

Later, the Krasnoyarsk governor Konstantin Kovar created a criminal organization, using his connections in the Russian government as a front.

In 2011, Oliver Queen traveled to Russia due to the promise he made to Taiana to defeat the Kovar's organization.

In late 2013, Floyd Lawton was found to have been captured in Russia and taken to Koshmar. Lyla was also tracking Floyd for John Diggle, but was also taken captive there. John, with the help of Oliver, Felicity and Anatoly, managed to free them.

Anatoly and his men help Team Arrow.

In 2017, the Team Arrow traveled to Russia to stop a nuclear arms deal between former United States General J.G. Walker and Markovian terrorists.

In 2019, Oliver and Mia Queen went to Moscow, Russia to obtain the pulse wave generator from general Alexi Burov an amateur of cage fight.
