The S.T.A.R. Labs hall was a hangar. It had since been abandoned up until Team Flash, Team Arrow, the Legends, and Supergirl used it as a base of operations while taking on the Dominators.
History
The hall was originally a facility for S.T.A.R. Labs for a range of their operations including aerospace due to it having a plane hangar in the back. It became defunct like most of S.T.A.R. Labs' facilities after the particle accelerator explosion in 2013. It was later brought into service again by Team Flash after the Dominators invaded in Central City, bringing in their allies from Star City, Earth-38, and the temporal zone. When Thea asked about the hall, Barry explained its status to her and that he was currently the owner of the base since Reverse-Flash's "passing".[1]
The hall was used as their main base of operations, using it to train with everyone fighting Supergirl, though she ended up beating all of them with ease. When Cisco confronted Barry about a message from Barry's future self, Barry revealed to the group about "Flashpoint", this caused most of the team to no longer trust Barry, the only people to trust him being Kara and Oliver. When the group left to rescue the President, Barry, Oliver and the rest of the team left for S.T.A.R. Labs.[1]
After rescuing Oliver, Sara, Diggle, Ray, and Thea from the Dominators, they returned to the hall to plan their next move. Oliver asked Supergirl to keep her distance from the mission, while he, Barry, Sara and Ray left to meet the new President. After returning Barry was willing enough to give himself up to save everyone but the rest of the team was unwilling to allow him, having forgiven him.[2]
After defeating the Dominators, the team celebrated their success, with Supergirl leaving for her Earth, Sara and the Legends saying their farewells, and Diggle forgiving Barry for what happened to his family due to Flashpoint. Oliver and Barry were the last to leave, with both leaving to grab a drink.[2]

Behind the scenes
- The S.T.A.R. Labs hall is a reference to the Hall of Justice, a headquarters for the Justice League. It was referred to by this name in the script for the DC's Legends of Tomorrow episode, "Invasion!".[3]
- The exterior bares a striking resemblance to Cincinnati Ohio's Union Terminal, the building the Hall of Justice was based upon.
