Salvador Dalí was a well-known artist widely recognized as the "Father of Surrealism".
Biography[]
Whenever Zelda Fitzgerald had a look at Salvador Dalí's work, she wasn't able to discern the subject or meaning of his illustrations, presumably because Dalí would mainly use surrealism in his works.

In 1927, while passing through the catacombs of Paris, Dalí encountered and was attacked by a displaced minotaur. To his luck, he escaped and lived to tell the tale of his encounter to other customers at the Café du Dôme. While Mick Rory sat beside the artist to listen to his tale, Nate Heywood interrupted and asked Dalí to elaborate on the physical appearance of the "monstrous man of the catacombs". He explained it in such an abstract way that left his audience in utter confusion. Nate ultimately asked Dalí to just draw an illustration of the monster, which also left Nate, Sara Lance and Hank Heywood in confusion.
Aberrant timeline: After listening to and being impressed by Ernest Hemingway's tale of how he slayed the beast of the catacombs, ironically, the Minotaur attacked the establishment and slaughtered Dalí and everyone else inside.
Current timeline: Constantine, Sara, Nate, and Hank arrived in time to protect the customers while they evacuated from or hid inside the building, preventing Dalí's untimely demise in the restaurant.
At some point, Dalí became known as the "Father of Surrealism".[1]
