The sixth season of The Flash​​​​​​ premiered on October 8, 2019, on The CW and concluded on May 12, 2020. It was originally going to consist of 22 episodes.[1] However, only 20 were produced[2] due to production shutting down indefinitely on March 13, 2020, due to the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic.[3] On April 20, 2020, it was revealed that only 19 out of the produced 20 episodes would be aired.[4]
