"I'm pretty sure if it wasn't for his very smart, very considerate college roommate lending him notes, helping him study, he wouldn't have made it through his finals!"
Cisco Ramon on Sebastian Ollins[src]

Sebastian Ollins is a Nobel Prize-winning quantum engineer and in 2049, the founder of Ollins Laboratories.

Early life

In college, Sebastian Ollins was roommates with Cisco Ramon. According to Cisco, Sebastian was an unmotivated student who couldn't stay awake during lectures, thus needing extensive help from him in studying. Cisco even lent Sebastian notes to use, which he believed to be the sole reason that Sebastian even passed his finals.[1]

Science career

Later in life, Sebastian received a Nobel Prize for his studies in quantum engineering.

In mid-2019, Sebastian rented out a warehouse in the Southside of Central City and retrofitted it with fiber-joules technology for his experiments. There, Sebastian created and housed a hyper-conduit, which was later stolen by Cicada II and replaced with a bomb.[1]

Possible future

By 2044 at the latest, Sebastian had founded Ollins Laboratories.[2]

"He's a true genius."
Nora West-Allen[src]
  • Genius-level intellect/Master engineer: Although he apparently showed little effort in college, Sebastian eventually founded the extremely successful Ollins Laboratories and received a Nobel Prize for his work. He also created the hyper-conduit, which Cisco Ramon claimed would be extremely rare to find. Nora West-Allen praised Sebastian's intellect.[1]
