Sekou Hamilton is a student at Garfield High School.
Biography
Sekou was fighting with another boy when Jefferson Pierce broke up the confrontation. He told the boys that fighting was not tolerated at Garfield High and that hatred hurt the haters more. Jefferson made Sekou and his opponent shake hands and ended the fight. The new principal, Mike Lowry, arrived and wanted to know who started the fight. When Sekou was revealed as the boy who threw the first punch, Lowry expelled him. Shocked and surprised, Jefferson told Sekou to go to class and went to talk with Lowry about the situation.[1]
