Sela is a Jarhanpurian and a member of the secret organization Leviathan.
Biography[]
Early life[]
Thousands of years ago, after the destruction of Jarhanpur, Sela came to Earth with other members of her species.[1]
Leviathan[]
Sela stood with Rama Khan and Tezumak as they charged their rings with Kryptonite; Rama Khan assured Gamemnae and Lex Luthor that they could handle Supergirl, especially since they had a way to track her when she used her powers.
Soon, they had two sightings of the Kryptonian, one in a park and another on a rooftop, miles from Luthor Corp; Sela chose the latter.[2]
Upon arriving, she found Alex Danvers with a Supergirl impostor, Miss Martian. Sela attacked but she was hit with the force of a bazooka by Alex's Hand of the soldier. Sela was undeterred and continued her assault; the discharge of electricity could be seen for miles. Since the two were not the true target, Sela allowed them to retreat.[2]
Later, Supergirl used her powers in a warehouse, so the Leviathan member accompanied the other Jarhanpurians there and used the kryptonite on Supergirl, poisoning her. Sela continued to fight as Miss Martian and Dreamer attacked her and her companions; Supergirl returned to battle with a new suit that protected her from the kryptonite radiation poisoning. Suddenly, an explosion occurred causing Sela and the other Jarhanpurians to be disintegrated. Sela proved her immortality by reintegrating herself, causing the three heroes to flee in fright.[2]
After Rama Khan received telepathically an insult from Martian Manhunter, Sela accompanied him and Tezumak against the Superfriends when she was abruptly and forcibly teleported back to the mothership headquarters, shrunk, and bottled by Querl Dox. Lex eventually took the bottle containing Sela to Lillian Luthor.[2] The powers and immortality of Sela were transferred to Lex,[3] but the ultimate fate of the Jarhanpurian is unknown.
