Shape-sifters are magical beings that can shape-shift into any person they see.
Overview
The real form of shape-shifters is unknown. They are able to assume both female and male human form, along with whatever clothes they wish. It's unknown whether they can assume non-human form.
History
Shape-shifters were considered one of the dangerous magical beings, opposed by humans. Knowing the local legends, John Constantine intended to send such creatures to Hell, as they had been known to go on killing sprees as well as cause World Wars. However, shape-shifters themselves, such as Charlie, considered the humans' actions unreasonable, and the idea of sending them into Hell or Mallus's realm unfair.[1]
