The sonic gauntlets[1] are lethal sonic weapons that were created and designed by Hartley Rathaway.
History[]
At some point in time, Team Flash got hold of a pair of sonic gauntlets, which they placed in the Starchives.[2]
Later, Hartley Rathaway used another pair to steal jewelry, but they were taken by the Flash right before Hartley escaped.[3]
When Central City came under attack from a Godspeed clone, Hartley used a sonic beam from the gauntlets in combination with the Flash's lightning bolt to disable him.[4]

- This could be a reference to Hartley's comic book counterpart, who is a flute player.
