- In the comics, the first Speedy is Roy Harper, a hero and member of the Seven Soldiers of victory and the Teen Titans. He is the sidekick of the Green Arrow and had a romantic involvement with Wonder Girl aka Donna Troy. Speedy was created by Mort Weisinger and George Papp, first appearing in More Fun Comics #73.
