Biography[]

Supergirl vs Spike Dragon

Spike battling Supergirl

On Thanksgiving 2018, Spike's house was raided by the Children of Liberty. While assaulting Alana's father, Spike's tank was accidentally destroyed. Desperate to save her father, Alana begged Spike to take action, prompting him to transform into his true Dracokardosian form. Spike then went on a rampage across National City, attacking any Children of Liberty members in sight. He nearly attacked Alex Danvers only to be restrained by Supergirl, leading to an aerial battle. Thankfully, Alana managed to convey information through Alex to allow Supergirl to calm down him and shrink back to his lizard form.[1]

On December 10, 2019, Spike swooped in on the plaza in Dracokardosian form, shooting fire blasts indiscriminately, forcing Supergirl's intervention. She tells a man to get to cover, before adding that she could save him. Supergirl faces Spike, cautioning him to calm down. She promises Spike that his owner Alana is waiting for him and there is nothing to fear. Eventually, he shrinks down and reverts to his much smaller size, taking on the form of a small lizard. Supergirl picks him up and brings him back to the D.E.O. She hands him off to an agent upon arrival.[2]
