St. Carmine's Hospital is a hospital located outside of eastern Texas.
History[]
During her first year at law school, Cecile Horton became a patient at St. Carmine's due to losing her mother to cancer, which resulted in her spiralling into anxiety and depression. During her time in St. Carmine's, she typically wandered down the halls and stared at the ceiling, lost in thought about her late mother. After some time in the hospital, Cecile checked out.
When Cecile was under the influence of the Psycho Pirate mask, she was placed in a dream version of the hospital, where she remained trapped after being hit by the Sage Force lightning. After the mask attacked Barry Allen, he also found himself in the dream with Cecile, with his body in the real world comatose. Barry questioned the terrified Cecile about the hospital when the door to their room unlocked, revealing a black swirling portal and an unidentified woman in a straight jacket; as Barry approached her, much to Cecile's dismay, the woman was revealed to be Cecile herself. Suddenly, Barry collapsed and the two awoke once again back in their room.
Cecile then revealed to Barry that she used to be a patient in the hospital in the real world, going on to retell the story of how she got there. Barry then helped Cecile find a way out of the dream by facing her fear.[1]
