Steve Lomeli is an inmate of Stryker's Island Penitentiary.

Biography[]

Original multiverse[]

Lex's cellmate[]

Steve was incarcerated in the cell across from Lex Luthor at Stryker's Island Penitentiary for stealing and releasing classified documents about illegal drone warfare from the DOD. He became the editor of Stryker's one-and-only newsletter, the not-so-free-press.

After Lex's escape, Steve was approached by Supergirl who asked him if he knew anything about Lex's plans; due to his hatred for Supergirl, he didn't want to answer that question. Steve claimed that Supergirl was a malignant narcissist who did more harm than good. Later, after Otis Graves released all inmates, he tried to attack Kara Danvers inside the prison, but after realizing who she was, he let her go before having to get down because of the army entering the prison. At the end of the day, Steve was visited by Kara to whom he gave Lex's hard drive.[1]

Anti-Monitor Crisis[]

During the Anti-Monitor Crisis, Steve as well as everyone in the multiverse except for the seven Paragons, was killed in an antimatter wave by the Anti-Monitor on December 10, 2019,[2] only to be restored a month later, after the Paragons and the Spectre created a new universe.[3]

New multiverse[]

Project Non Nocere[]

The new Steve was now the leader of a yoga and meditation class in the jail. After class, he and two other inmates were in an elevator when it experienced a power outage. One of the inmates began to have a claustrophobic episode; Steve attempted to calm him, but the inmate would not relax even with the activated program.

Soon, Lena and Lex were in the prison, examining the inmate; Steve entered the room and was pleased to see Lex, though Lex acted as if he hardly remembered him. Steve gave a first-hand account of what had happened to help the Luthors with their experiments.[4]

Later, Steve became trapped with the Luthors when a riot occurred. Meanwhile, Lena experimented on Steve to get a living account of what he was experiencing. Ultimately, Steve proved to Lena that Project Non Nocere was a failure. Lex would later blow up the prison, leaving Steve's fate unknown.[5]
