Trivia[]

  • The 1st photo of Superman is exhibited at the Siegel and Shuster Gallery, which is named after the two creators of Superman, Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster.
  • Before meeting James Olsen in person, Kara mentions that she expected him to be "some scrawny kid with red hair and freckles or something", an allusion to his conventional appearance in Superman comic books and media.
  • A newspaper article on Maxwell Lord's Super Rail has the headline "IT'S A BIRD, IT'S A TRAIN!" This is a reference to the popular Superman quote, "It's a Bird! It's a Plane! It's Superman!"
  • Lena Luthor's address is 1961 Schaffenberger Way, Suite 23. This is a reference to American comics artist Kurt Schaffenberger, who started working on the Superman Action Comics in 1961 and was the co-creator of the very first iteration of Lena Luthor.
  • In a journal entry, M'yrnn J'onzz mentions trying Soder Cola, a popular soft drink in the DC comics which is a competitor of Zesti Cola.

Goofs[]

  • The newspaper article on Reactron and Superman's fight is dated August 9, 2018. In reality, it should be dated between 2010 and 2015.[1]
  • Linda Park writing the Central City Picture News article on the Dominator invasion isn't in line with her job, since she is a sports journalist.
    • However, it's possible Linda either changed her journalist occupation or was specifically assigned to write the story for some reason.
