Superman & Lois is a television series based on the DC Comics characters of the same name. It premiered on February 23, 2021 on The CW.

On February 3, 2021, The CW ordered 2 additional episodes for the first season, bringing the number up to 15.[1]

On March 2, 2021, The CW renewed Superman & Lois for a second season.[2]

  • Superman & Lois is an indirect reference to the 1993 television series; Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman.
    • The unproduced fifth season of Lois & Clark would have been centered on the protagonists raising a child together, which is similar to the Superman & Lois premise.
  • Filming for season one began on October 21, 2020. [5]
  • There was going to be a crossover episode with the second season of Batwoman.[6]
    • However, on January 14, 2021, it was announced that the crossover was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.[7]
  • On March 2nd, 2021, Superman and Lois was renewed for a second season by the CW.[2]
