The T-Spheres are autonomous mini-drones invented and used by Curtis Holt as Mr. Terrific. The spheres have several offensive and defensive capabilities, such as a self-targeting projectile.

History

The spheres were developed by Curtis Holt and originally intended for Felicity Smoak's program for "prototypes for the future" when she became CEO of Palmer Technologies.[1]

As Curtis was attacked by Roy Harper, he activated and threw a prototype T-Sphere at him as a distraction, only for Roy to catch and throw it back. The force of its explosion sent Curtis hurtling through a glass window, knocking him out.[2]

When Palmer Tech was under attack by Brie Larvan, Felicity and Thea Queen used some T-Sphere prototypes to create an explosion in the boardroom wall to free the captive board members.[3]

After Felicity was fired, Curtis quit his job at Palmer Tech and joined Team Arrow, where he continued working on the spheres in order to help him fight crime as Mr. Terrific. Although at first they were not functional, by the time the team encountered Vigilante, Curtis used them successfully to knock him out.[4]

When Felicity and Oliver were trapped in the Arrowcave, Lyla offered Team Arrow to A.R.G.U.S. version of the T-Sphere, which upset both Curtis and John. Nevertheless, with the help of the device, the team reached their friends.[5]

When Black Siren invades the Arrowcave, she steals a prototype of a T-Sphere.[6]

During the Earth-X invasion, Curtis used the T-Spheres in the final battle, once allowing a shrunken Atom to ride on one.[7]

Rewritten reality

In the reality created by the Legion of Doom using the Spear of Destiny, the spheres were utilized by Felicity Smoak, who was the last living vigilante in Star City.[8]
