Vigilante[]

A vigilante is someone who enacts the law illegally. He's been killing people for revenge and to "teach Oliver a lesson". Thus, he's NOT a vigilante.Cloudtheavenger (talk) 03:21, March 9, 2017 (UTC)

If Tar Pit counts as a Vigilante, I dont see why Prometheus would not count as a one too.Ninja72 (talk) 22:54, March 10, 2017 (UTC)

He doesn't. The wikia is just a complete mess.Cloudtheavenger (talk) 04:21, March 11, 2017 (UTC)
it's not our fault users like to make up info. Do you think it's possible for anyone to see what's going on a wiki that has thousands of pages? Stuff like this happens on literally every wiki, don't start pointing fingers.TIMESHADE |Talk/Wall| - |C| 04:28, March 11, 2017 (UTC)
Tar Pit, as presented in the show, was very much on a mission of vigilantism. He did not attack anyone except criminals, so far.--Kir the Wizard (talk) 08:53, March 11, 2017 (UTC)

I would like to point this out: However, not all vigilantes are fighting for justice, some do it out of personal revenge or antagonistic reasoning.--Typhuss999 (talk) 23:59, March 10, 2017 (UTC)

Please look up the definition of a vigilante.Cloudtheavenger (talk) 04:21, March 11, 2017 (UTC)

I don't need to, then why is this page in the Category:Vigilantes if he's not a vigilante. And why is he listed as a Vigilante on the Vigilante (concept) page then.--Typhuss999 (talk) 04:34, March 11, 2017 (UTC)

Here's a reason, because there hasn't been a massive overhaul to separate villains (like Eobard, Hunter, Adrian, and who knows how many others) from Vigilantes (Team Flash, Team Arrow, and the occasional solo guys like... well.... Vigilante)

It's not like this is a perfect information source.

Kaestal (talk) 05:04, March 11, 2017 (UTC)

Ok.--Typhuss999 (talk) 05:05, March 11, 2017 (UTC)

His goal is to make Oliver answer for his crimes. Of course, he commits crimes of his own to enact this "justice" on Oliver. That's kind of a point of the vigilantes. The Punisher, the quintessential comic book vigilante, commits countless killings of people barely related to the criminal he wants to punish (like security guards), often just to make a point that "no one escapes justice". Yet he's still a vigilante, even though half his killings could be chalked up to downright serial murders. --Kir the Wizard (talk) 08:53, March 11, 2017 (UTC)

Yet Hunter Zolomon, serial killer and terrorist extraordinaire, is listed in the same category as Barry Allen, who specifically hunts down bad guys.

Kaestal (talk) 09:24, March 11, 2017 (UTC)
Hunter Zolomon is in the category Vigilantes, because he was a vigilante, not as Zoom, but as The Flash.Ninja72 (talk) 12:47, March 11, 2017 (UTC)

What if we made a page for bad vigilantes maybe call it Villainous Vigilante (concept)?.--Typhuss999 (talk) 21:53, March 31, 2017 (UTC)

Or Anti-Vigilante.--Typhuss999 (talk) 22:00, March 31, 2017 (UTC)

Talia[]

He was NOT trained by Talia. He studied Oliver for four years. Diggle said it.Cloudtheavenger (talk) 03:36, March 9, 2017 (UTC)

Real Name[]

I understand why the page would want to be changed to SM from AC, but I have a rebuttal reason. If we're setting these pages according to their real names, shouldn't Malcolm Merlyn be changed to Arthur King?StarkResilientAvengers (talk) 04:00, March 17, 2017 (UTC)

There's a difference. Merlyn legally changed his name, which is a real, normal process. However, Adrian Chase is an unregistered alias, and, like they said on the show, using a fake name in his position is enough to get Adrian arrested. This is more like Hunter Zolomon calling himself Jay Garrick. Kagemamoru (talk) 19:21, March 28, 2017 (UTC)

Edits[]

I made a little change this article. Maymichael (talk) 20:10, March 31, 2017 (UTC)

Should we rename him Simon Morrison it is his real name.[]
