Future Wife[]

Should it be listed that Barry Allen is a future husband in the "Family" section?

Lonen22 (talk) 15:51, March 4, 2016 (UTC)Lonen22

Good suggestion. Well, to be honest, the timeline was messed up by a lot of events in The Flash series. Eobard's murder on Nora, Barry attempting to rescue his mom from death, Barry accidentally travelling through time, ..., and more recently his failed attempt to reset the timeline after the events of Flashpoint. It's unclear what would happen in 2024 based on the current situation. Wasky1234 (talk) 04:10, October 16, 2016 (UTC)

Grandam Esther?[]

Should Grandma Esther be lisited in the family section since its been implied she's her actual grandma FanMade Girl 20 (talk) 17:48, December 8, 2016 (UTC)

Page Name Change[]

Hi guys,

Can someone change Iris's page name to Iris West-Allen (Earth-One)? We know Iris added Allen to her name the second she married Barry. I would do it except I'm not an admin on this wiki. Chawk1993 (talk) 07:24, November 29, 2017 (UTC)

Someone needs to rename this page to Iris West-Allen as it has been confirmed that is her name now MarkMcG978 (talk) 23:53 December 06 2017

Future Daughter[]

Just a quick fix: it says that Iris is the mother of her future daughter Nora Allen (Barry's mother) in her intro, not Nora West-Allen (her actual daughter). LittleSquirrel21 (talk) 03:43, November 16, 2018 (UTC)LittleSquirrel21

Central City Citizen[]

She has open her newspaper agency, Central City Citizen. Thus she should have that in her infobox.--783667 (talk) 14:18, January 30, 2019 (UTC)

Learning from her Mistakes:[]

Like her father "Joe West", Iris is not likely to learn from her mistakes until experiencing them first hand; such as Barry becoming less trustful of people, when Hunter Zolomon (posing as Jay Garrick) claimed that Earth-1 was in danger by another speedster called Zoom, Barry did not believe it, even though most of his friends (including Iris) did, but this was mostly due to the fact that Jay reminded him of Eobard Thawne. However, Barry's suspicions of "Jay" ultimately turned out to be correct, as he was later revealed to be the super villain Zoom. She still hasn't learned that she can't talk Barry out of anything once his mind is made up about something throughout the entire series. Despite Barry's bad experiences with Eobard Thawne and Hunter Zolomon respectively, Iris and everybody in Team Flash (except Barry) is still fooled by an individual's ability to appear kind-natured, Iris didn't suspect that Clifford DeVoe was a meta-human (after the Council of Wells informed Team Flash that the latter was the mastermind behind the bus meta-humans) despite the fact that he did not have a criminal record, Iris's concern increased when Barry's suspicions of Clifford increased when he and his wife Marlize lied to his superior officer David Singh, claiming that he was harassing Clifford (when in truth, he was only conducting the necessary investigation) when Iris tried to persuade Barry to let it go, he refused, even when every member of Team Flash (including Iris) believed he was innocent - Barry's suspicions were proven to be correct yet again; regarding Clifford.

Like Cisco, Iris can be ridiculously paranoid & self-righteous. Totally disregarding the similarity that Oliver's decision to turn himself in & Barry's decision to enter the Speed Force Prison. They both made disastrous mistakes & both have evolved from their prison experiences.

Team Leader[]

Shouldn't Iris also have the title of Team Flash's Team Leader? She named the official leader in season 4. Voluted29 (talk) 17:35, July 14, 2020 (UTC)

poor intuition[]

Is "poor intuition" really something that is actually one of Iris's weaknesses? If so, then we could also put that on literally any other character's page in the Arrowverse, such as Barry for trusting Eobard, or for trusting Hunter. Vanboat (talk) 01:08, 11 March 2021 (UTC)

Meta-human[]

Shoudn't Iris be considered a meta-human now because she has a power: her connection to the speed force and electrokinesis? Normal humans don't have these abilities due to biological properties like Iris.

No, she shouldn't. Right now in the Flash storyline, she said her powers were taken away after Eva went back to the Mirrorverse. And a connection to the speed force isn't really a power. For example, Barry can run fast through his connection with speed force (that's a power). We don't know if Iris can do anything right now. If she displays powers in the later episodes, we'll change it, but not right now. We simply don't have enough information. A-verse44 (talk) 01:27, 22 March 2021 (UTC)

Family section[]

Joe West (father; deceased), should changed to Joe West (father). Joe West page mentioned he is alive.
