Being named after Jonathan Crane
I know it was never stated but since Sunday night's episode of Batwoman said that his father was an colleague of Crane so that makes 99% certain Cartwright named his son after Scarecrow cuz it's not an coincidence that both Jonathans have their name spelt the same way --Silver Infinite 23 19:31, March 17, 2020 (UTC)
- I thought about it too, but "Jonathan" is also a very common name isn't it? (I honestly don't know, I'm Italian) So maybe is a bit too speculative. It's a weird coincidence but it could very much be a mere coincidence. Also, the character is a gender-bending version of Jane Cartwright and the male form of Jane could be either "John" of "Jonathan", right?--Oilgof (talk) 20:36, March 17, 2020 (UTC)
