Based on her conversations with both Jordan in "The Ties That Bind" and Lana in "The Thing in the Mines", she doesn't seem to express any 'confusion' regarding this. With Jordan, she seems apprehensive to be revealing to have 'kissed someone else' not specifically it being a girl. Also, with speaking with Lana, it seems Sarah has been open about this for some time - particularly based on Lana saying "you've always known exactly who you were, and you've never been afraid to show that person to the world...".

As such, it seems including her in the category is the most accurate option based on the information we have, and if further information is provided that changes this, then we can quite easily remove her from the category to reflect this new information.Corz23 (talk) 13:00, 28 January 2022 (UTC)

Hispanic background[]

I noticed in The Thing in the Mines that her parents talk about her upcoming quinceanera (ie she is 14 turning 15) and also refer to her as "princessa", so I think this would support listing her as being Hispanic.

I'm unclear though whether this originates from the Lang or Cushing side of the family, or possibly both. I looked up the actors who play the parents and Erik's dad Miguel Valdez was Mexican/Spanish descent so that would be the logical assumption, even though I never noticed this visually. Lana's actress Emmanuelle Chriqui has Morrocon background which had Spanish influence (and protectorate status since 1912 to 1958) so she could be called Hispanic too though.

Does anyone know of any references to the family being hispanic prior to TTITM? I'm wondering if maybe I was zoned out and didn't notice some subtler cues. These two in rapid sequence might've just been the first which were obvious. Tycio (talk) 17:16, 29 January 2022 (UTC)
