How

how do you move it to Earth-2 vigilante? there was many earth-2 vigilantes there. I was originaly going to create the page with that exact title, but didnt because of that.

Isn't she Courtney Whitmore?

Um, we're still pretending it's not the same character? Didn't you guys credit her as Courtney Whitmore on the Crisis page?

the Earth-2 link goes to the old Earth-2, not the "reborn" earth-2 after Crisis (or is it the same earth?) Chasemarc (talk) 17:15, January 15, 2020 (UTC)

Until the admins decide what to do, for now at least on this wiki, it's the same earth.

Page's name

Since we already have a Stagirl on Earth-1 with the same suit and staff, could we not put the title of this page as Stargirl (Earth-2 Prime) and leave conjectural title below? --Conner Kennt69 (talk) 00:07, January 16, 2020 (UTC)

I realized that the wiki named the new Earth 96 superman as "Superman (Earth-96 Prime)". We could do the same with Stargirl, because just like the name of Superman was never mentioned on the screen, neither was Stargirl. But it is obvious that they are. Better than leaving "Earth-2 vigilante" --Conner Kennt69 (talk) 20:14, January 19, 2020 (UTC)

This is confusing and absurd

Okay, I'm just gonna be honest - this page is a whole mess, and the dedication to pedantry is absolutely ridiculous. From what I can gather, a lot of the problems seem to stem from the idea that "if it hasn't been named on-screen, we shouldn't name it on the wiki," which I understand from a solely logical perspective, but it leads to unnecessarily obfuscating things.

We know exactly who Courtney Whitmore/Stargirl is. There's no point acting like the character from the show Stargirl - who looks like Stargirl and is played by the actress playing Courtney Whitmore/Stargirl (whom we have credited on the page) in a clip clearly ripped from the show Stargirl - isn't Courtney Whitmore/Stargirl. And the fact that this page doesn't show up when I type "Stargirl" into the search box is incredibly confusing and nonsensical.

The only people who lose out in this scenario are editors (especially new ones, like myself) and readers. And in my experience, a wiki should always try and create a good experience for its readers. This does not a good reading experience make. Daniel D Adkins (talk) 16:32, January 25, 2020 (UTC)

For consistency

Both Earth-2 vigilante 2 and Earth-2 vigilante 5 are free to move to. I'm not sure exactly how numbers were assigned, but obviously the robot (obv. STRIPE) deserves a number too.

I have no idea why we assume the character's name here is Courtney Whitmore despite us just using Courtney for her earlier incarnation. Especially since we aren't jumping to conclusions for the codenames of Hourman/Wildcat/Mid-Nite.

We don't necessarily know that the character played by Sarah Grey earlier and the character played by Brec Bassinger later share the same name or codename, do we?

I mean yeah, it's a clear reference to w:c:StargirlTV since same actress, but in theory Bassinger might be playing an entirely different character like say, "Megan Morse the Star-Spangled Kid".

Also if "it's Bassinger so it's Whitmore" is the argument for choosing that page title, then shouldn't "it's Monreal so it's Montez" and "it's Washington so it's Chapel" apply equally to Wildcat (Earth-2) (Wildcat) and Dr. Mid-Nite (Earth-2) (Mid-Nite) respectively?

Getting back to the Stargirl TV wiki, will it be merged into here? Or is it too separate like Lucifer/Titans/Doom/Swamp where it should be in separate wikis for now, and we just do a minor note?

Constantine got absorbed in it's entirety, so this makes me wonder what sort of crossover threshold it passed which the other five shows have not passed. talk2ty 19:22, January 27, 2020 (UTC)

Move

Can we move this to Stargirl (Earth-2) as the administrator Makeshift said that "In other post-crisis news, we're (finally) moving the cameos under more appropriate names. They will be moved to what we saw them as. So if we just saw them in a costume, it'll be under their alterego name. If we saw them in both, it'll be under their civilian name."?--Jkirk8907 (talk) 06:13, January 28, 2020 (UTC)
