Tezumak is a Jarhanpurian and a member of the secret organization Leviathan.

Biography[]

Original multiverse[]

Early life[]

Thousands of years ago, after the destruction of Jarhanpur, Tezumak came to Earth with other members of its species.[1]

Leviathan[]

After Rama Khan's recent defeat at the hands of Supergirl and Lena Luthor, Gamemnae told him that their elder was considering replacing him as leader of Leviathan with Tezumak, something he greatly disliked since, according to Rama Khan, Tezumak practices no restraints in his tactics and thus could doom the earth in the bid to "save it".[2]

Anti-Monitor Crisis[]

During the Anti-Monitor Crisis, Tezumak as well as everyone in the multiverse except for the seven Paragons, was killed in an antimatter wave by the Anti-Monitor on December 10, 2019,[3] only to be restored a month later, after the Paragons and the Spectre created a new universe.[4]

Battling Superfriends[]

Charging his ring with kryptonite

Tezumak receives one of the three rings that previously belonged to Rama Khan; Lex Luthor stole the rings from the Fortress of Solitude and presented them Gamemnae to prove his loyalty to Leviathan.[5] Tezumak listens as Rama Khan promises Lex and Gamemnae that they can handle Supergirl;[6] he walks over to the Kryptonite that Rama Khan had acquired the day before[5] and loads his ring with its energy while Sela and Rama Khan do the same.

Leviathan arrives to kill Supergirl

Finding the real Supergirl

The Jarhanpurians know that they can track Supergirl wherever she appears, but they receive information that she is in two different places simultaneously; so, as Sela goes to one location, Tezumak goes with Rama Khan to a park in National City. There they find Dreamer with an imposter looking like Supergirl, Martian Manhunter. As they battle, Tezumak wounds the Martian, causing him and Dreamer to retreat.

Leviathan apparently dead

Disintegrated

Supergirl uses her powers in a warehouse, so the three attack her; they succeed in poisoning her with the Kryptonite. The three fight Dreamer and Miss Martian, but Supergirl returns with a new suit that is unaffected by the kryptonite. Suddenly, an explosion occurs and Tezumak, Sela, and Rama Khan are disintegrated and turned to dust. However, the immortals reconstitute themselves; frightened at their power, the heroes quickly flee.

Brainy bottles Leviathan

Bottled

After Rama Khan gets a telepathic insult from Martian Manhunter, Tezumak participates in the battle against the Superfriends when he is forcibly teleported back to the mothership headquarters to be shrunk and bottled by Querl Dox. Lex takes the bottle containing Tezamuk to Lillian Luthor.[6] The powers and immortality of Tezamuk were tranferred to Lex,[7] but his ultimate fate is unknown.
