- The villains at the Toyman's gathering resemble members of Superman's rogues gallery such as Sleez, Terra-Man, Hi-Tech, Thaddeus Killgrave, Loophole and Phillip Karnowsky in his Earth-38 vigilante suit.
- Despite the comic book series being titled EARTH-PRIME, this issue does not take place on Earth-Prime but rather on Earth-TUD25, as revealed in "Waiting for Superman".
