For the Earth One Flash suit worn by Barry Allen, see The Flash suits. For the Earth Two Flash suit worn by Hunter Zolomon, see The Flash suit (Earth Two).

The Flash suit is a protective suit worn by Jay Garrick in his superhero alter-ego, the Flash. It resembled a similar suit used by Hunter Zolomon in his identity as the Flash from Earth Two, which itself was based on the design of a military uniform used by James Zolomon during the War of the Americas.

History

During his heroics as The Flash on Earth Three, Jay wore the suit. It was eventually taken off him when he was captured by Hunter Zolomon.[1]

The suit is similar to Hunter Zolomon's Flash suit, although Hunter's was modeled to resemble soldier uniforms on Earth Two, the top half is light red with blue at the waist and blue pants, it has red boots and a belt with a buckle similar to Barry's, unlike Hunter's suit it possesses no gloves and originally didn't have the helmet.

When Jay was saved from Zoom, he re-donned his Flash suit as he prepared to travel between Earths One and Two. This time he added Zolomon's helmet to his costume at the advice of Harry Wells, who noted that, despite the truth of its wearer's identity, the helmet was a symbol of hope for the people of Earth Two.[1]
