Synopsis
Caitlin, Barry and Cisco learn something new about Caitlin’s father. Meanwhile, Iris and Sherloque follow a clue about Cicada.[1]

- The name of this episode comes from the play, The Iceman Cometh.
- The title is also similar to the The Flash: Season Zero comic book issue, "The Strongman Cometh"
- "Icicle" may refer to Cameron Makhent, who was mentioned in "Nora" as a nonexistent medical examiner who signed off on Caitlin's father's death certificate. In the comics, Makhent was known as Icicle, a villain of Green Arrow, and is also the son of the Golden Age Icicle Joar Mahkent.
