Tokugawa Ieyasu was a shogun of the Tokugawa dynasty.
Biography
Ieyasu ruled Japan as shogun and died sometime prior to 1641; by this year, his grandson, Tokugawa Iemitsu, ruled as shogun of the Tokugawa dynasty.[1]
