Tournament of Skulls

The Tournament of Skulls is an illegal underground fighting tournament held every six months in Starling City.

History[]

The Tournament of Skulls was organized at some point around or prior to 2008. It is held every six months in Starling City, with some of the most dangerous underground criminals participating in a literal fight to the death. The tournament claimed over 60 fatalities in the next five years, most of which were caused by Monty Cora, the reigning champion.

In 2013, Oliver Queen infiltrated the tournament by posing as a challenger in an effort to get information on Cora. Meanwhile, John Diggle payed a large bribe to the tournament's organizer in exchange for Cora's addresses and aliases. Oliver managed to defeat Cora and was declared as the new champion.^[1]
