Trebonius was a Senator of the Roman Republic. He was involved in the conspiracy of Julius Caesar's assassination.
Biography[]
On March 15, the day known as the Ides of March, 44 BC, when Marcus Antonius proceeded to the Theatre of Pompey and attempted to warn Caesar of the Senators' plot to assassinate their dictator, he was intercepted by Trebonius, who kept Marcus outside of the theatre.[1]
