"Tremors" is the ???th episode of Arrow. It aired on January 29, 2014.

"Tremors" is twelfth episode of the second season of Arrow, and the thirty-fifth episode overall. It aired on January 29, 2014.


The Arrow offers to train Roy so he can learn to control his enhanced strength. However, Roy is a rebellious student and refuses to listen unless The Arrow reveals his true identity, which Oliver refuses to do. Meanwhile, Bronze Tiger escapes from prison and steals a prototype of the Markov Device to sell to the highest bidder. Oliver, Diggle and Felicity attempt to stop the transfer, but Roy gets in the way, putting everyone in danger. Laurel is disbarred and spirals out of control. Moira is thrilled when Walter asks her to dinner, but his reason surprises her. Thea encourages her mother to ask Walter to reconcile.


Ben Turner escapes from prison with assistance sent by Milo Armitage, who also pays him $10 million to steal a prototype of Malcolm Merlyn's earthquake device. The Arrow tries to teach Roy self-control, but Roy loses it during a mission and Turner manages to escape with the device. The Arrow tracks down the device and is forced to reveal his identity to Roy in order to get his help in destroying the device. Meanwhile, Laurel learns that she may be disbarred because of her addiction, and spirals further out of control. In addition, Moira agrees to run for mayor against Sebastian, and Amanda Waller propositions Turner to commute his sentence in exchange for him joining a "squad" she is forming. In flashbacks, Oliver struggles with the guilt of letting Shado die and stops Slade from destroying Ivo's freighter with Edward Fyers' missile launcher.


  • Oliver reveals his identity to Roy as The Arrow, and is furthermore made an official member of Oliver's team.




Preparation ran from November 5 until November 14, 2013. Shooting ran from November 15 until November 26, 2013.[1]
