Ukraine is a country in Europe that was formerly part of the Soviet Union.
History[]
Original timeline[]
In 1986, an explosion at the Chernobyl nuclear plant in Ukraine resulted in thousands of deaths.[1]
Current timeline[]
After the Legends time traveled to Ukraine in 1986 via the time machine, Gwyn Davies, Zari Tomaz, and Behrad Tarazi broadcast a message alerting residents of the area to flee from the imminent explosion. This attracted the attention of Gideon, who told Bishop to fix the aberration. However, Bishop refused and fled from the Waverider on a toilet.[1]
Gideon then sent the Robot Legends to Ukraine to try to fix the aberration. They shut down the broadcast of the imminent nuclear meltdown and convinced General Kalashnik to broadcast a new message stating that the initial report was a false alarm, resetting the timeline mostly back to normal. Sara Lance then confronted Ukrainian nuclear physicist Dr. Irina Petrov, who was supposed to die in the explosion, in Oslo, Norway. Sara then killed her in order to completely reset the timeline.[2]
