The United States of America (USA), commonly referred to as the United States (US) or America, was a country located on Earth-75. The city of Metropolis (Earth-75) was the former home of Superman prior to his death at the hands of Lex Luthor. The universe was them destroyed shortly after by by a wave of antimatter.[1]

In December 2019, Lois Lane and Clark Kent from Earth-38 visited Metropolis (Earth-75) in order to verify if its Superman was the Paragon of Truth. However, Lex Luthor arrived before them, finding Superman and killing him; after which an unnamed woman mourned for him, which was shown on the news as Earth-75's own Lex. The next broadcasts were displayed on the world news, weather and sports channels; while below the main board, the Pentagon issued a detailed statement, and the country was urged to form emergency preparedness plans, as air raid drills began in the south of its territories.[1]
