The United States of America (USA), commonly referred to as the United States (US) or America, was a country located in the Northern Hemisphere; in the continent of North America on the Earth of Earth-TUD22.
History[]
- "The Battle of Metropolis. Seven minutes that changed everything. A controlled burn. Destroying a major American city only provoked global resistance. The Kryptonians could have used their might to scorch the Earth, but their desire for the planet kept them in check. Coast City was the next to fall. Destroyed with a nuke the Resistance intended for the Kryptonians."

An overview of North America on this Earth (Earth-TUD22).
At some point, Earth-TUD22's Kal-El crash landed on this Earth, at the Kent Farm in Smallville. After intervention, when he broke out of a U.S. government facility, he found the spaceship which brought him to Earth, and along with it, a sunstone crystal. Kal escaped to the Amazon Rainforest and established his Fortress of Solitude down in the country of Brazil; South America, using that sunstone crystal.[1]
and began his missions as Superman to save the civilian populations of the USA, particularly intervening during disasters (such as an ocean wave about to sink a ship), and attacking regimes of countries hostile to America, as well as their armies and drones; while also in Asia, he even saved a collapsing bridge in the province of Guizhou; China; where although this earned Superman his popular support by the ordinary American people, various national governments worldwide feared his power if left unchecked.[1]
However, after meeting his brother Tal-Rho, Kal-El went rogue and began killing innocents, along with a number of others, destroying several American cities such as Coast City and Metropolis, hence killing their populations; including Lois Lane of the Daily Planet, which made her husband John Henry Irons want to get revenge.[2]
Superman, now turned to the side of evil, came across a U.S. military squad led by John Henry Irons, who became the only survivor of the squad after Kal killed the entire army with his Heat vision. Kal-El later wreaked havoc across the planet, with John fighting against him to prevent him from causing any more damage. However, most other efforts failed as the U.S. military squads sent to engage this Superman were killed by his heat vision; presumably this Earth's Sam Lane was one of them.[3]
The U.S., the country's armies, and eventually the entire planet of Earth (Earth-TUD22), was eventually destroyed by Superman, who followed Irons into space, but on December 10, 2019, the universe of Earth-TUD22 was destroyed by a wave of antimatter during the Anti-Monitor Crisis. John and his daughter Natalie each then separately made their way to Earth-TUD25 by way of wormholes that abruptly formed.[4][5]
