History

When she activates the Obsidian Platinum VR lenses, Alex Danvers will find the connected world of VR Las Vegas. Once inside the simulation, she is instructed to an out-of-place haunted mansion on a hill, The Escape Palace. It is hosted at the casino the Silver Ballroom, which also functions as a dance hall.

After her father's death, Alex Danvers was devastated and used Obsidian Platinum lenses to create a perfect reality for her, where she was a hero and her father was alive. Alex then entered the virtual National City, where she was considered the number 1 heroine. When Alex Danvers used her Supergirl powers to navigate above the city to help anyone in need, she flew past the CatCo HQ building.

After saving the city from a virtual dragon attack at the VR mall, and also defeating Hank Henshaw, Alex, J'onn and Brainy went to Al's bar after saving the day. Mac, a barista there, offered Alex a drink and then did the same when another client dressed as Supergirl arrived, leaving Alex confused and making her go away.

Two NPC robbers tried to rob the West National City Bank (Obsidian Platinum), but were arrested by the NCPD as they escaped; being helped by the virtual Supergirl (who was now Alex Danvers).

Being a recreation in an augmented reality realm, the history of the D.E.O. National City headquarters is the same as that of Earth-Prime, with the difference of director Alex Danvers now being the Supergirl.

When Alex tried to leave the simulation, she woke up in the apartment. But in reality it was still part of the simulation. "J'onn" called her and said that Psi had launched a psychic attack on the city to make people doubt the virtual reality, so Alex went out to arrest her.

Kelly tried to wake her up and created a simulation of Alex to wake her up. so, the NPCs tried to force her to stay, but she froze them and destroyed them using her super breath and returned to Earth-Prime.

Trivia

• Advanced Obsidian Platinum users can customize the virtual world; such as the Silver Ballroom in Las Vegas (Obsidian Platinum), but it takes time for the additions to be cataloged by the games' manager.  As such, there are some places (like The Escape Palace in Virtual Las Vegas) where the people running the game have no clue what is going on.

• Most interesting is that despite Obsidian Platinum being an Earth-Prime problem, neither Cisco or Curtis (both tech experts, for The Flash and Arrow respectively) were consulted (even off-screen) by the Superfriends to help prove the nefarious purposes that the lenses truly posed.
  • However, the Superfriends did have people to investigate the problem; such as Kelly Olsen, who worked on the tech itself.
