An unnamed man (died November 2012) was an assassin hired by Malcolm Merlyn to kill Oliver Queen. He posed as a butler while attempting to perform the hit, but failed.
Biography[]
After Oliver Queen was arrested on suspicion of being The Hood, Malcolm Merlyn hired this assassin to kill him. This assassin managed to infiltrate Oliver's party while he was under house arrest and disguised himself as a butler. When Oliver went up to his bedroom room for privacy, the assassin attempted to kill him with a silenced pistol. However, Oliver managed to disarm him and they got into a fight. During the fight, Oliver's ankle monitor got knocked off and this alerted Quentin Lance, who went to investigate. The man managed to grab his pistol but before he could shoot Oliver, he was shot twice himself by Quentin.[1]

- Peak of human physical condition: The unnamed assassin was fast and strong enough keep up with Oliver Queen in a brief fight.
- Expert combatant/Martial artist: The unnamed assassin was proficient in hand-to-hand combat as he was able to hold his own for a while against Oliver after ambushing him, but was eventually defeated.
- Expert marksman: This unnamed assassin knew how to use pistols.
