After the airing of Crisis on Infinite Earths, some changes were made to the wiki that largely affected how we'd deal with the massive changes to the multiverse experienced in the crossover. We did make an initial announcement, but after some input from you guys, as well as some further episodes airing, helping to clear up a few things, we in the admin team have reached a conclusion on how to handle all of the issues presented to us.
Perhaps the most divisive of the discussion was how to proceed on the multiverse having been "rebooted", for all intents and purposes. After the airing of the most recent batch of episodes, some things have particularly come to light, particularly in s (obviously, mild spoilers ahead). In these two episodes it …

After some talks among the admin team, it's come to our attention that, given the events of Crisis on Infinite Earths, we need to sort out how we deal with a lot of pages going forwards, so we were hoping to open up the floor to editor discussion. In dealing with any potential changes, there are a number of things to consider:
- The original multiverse was completely destroyed, along with all of the original characters. Following this, a new multiverse was created, with characters as before, but technically brand new, along with the new multiverse, having been recreated by Oliver. The characters are intended to be the same from a production standpoint, but in-universe they are freshly new (barring those outside of the multiverse at its destruc…
For a long time we've considered adding cast sections to episode pages, it was always just a matter of when. Given that, following Crisis on Infinite Earths, we are now merging with some wikis that have chosen to include cast sections in their pages, and so we thought it high time that we do the same.
In regards to which pages are edited first, we have no preference at all, but this will obviously mean the guest stars value in infoboxes will be done away with, incorporated instead within the article. As always, we seek to maintain best practices, so it's asked that you follow our Manual of Style in doing so, specifically the section on episode cast sections.
If you need help in adding these sections, look to this episode page as a reference, …Read more >
After a lot of consideration, I've decided that five and a half long years is enough for me, and it's time I finally retire from editing. Moving into this year, I'm gonna be a whole lot more busy in my personal life as I move out of home, and so I won't really have a whole lot of time for editing, so it made sense that I leave before life gets in the way and everything gets crazy.
Back when I pseudo-founded the Arrow Wiki, I had absolutely no idea what I was doing; I'd only edited sporadically and had definitely never properly administered anywhere before. Five and a half years later and 313 episodes in, the wiki is flourishing like I never could have imagined. We've hit nearly a million viewers in a single day, we've pushed our way up FAND…Read more >
So with our impending expanding universe, it seems only fit that we should cover shows that crossover within each other. In saying that, our current name isn't exactly ideal for a wiki that bases itself around 3 separate series. It's true, we did change our name not too long ago, but in saying that, I thought we could have a discussion to potential names, to make a more cohesive wiki.
You guys are welcome to throw around names for such a wiki. CW-verse? DCTV? Really it's up to you guys, cause after all we're a community! In a bit we'll have a more formal vote, and figure which is the best to go with, before finalising it.
UPDATE: Please put your vote towards a new wiki name, voting here.Read more >
