Hi, I was watching Arrow season 8's trailer and I have theories about why everything is what it is.
1.Oliver Wearing The Mask-Why is Oliver wearing a mask again? His identity has already being exposed by Diaz and Samanda Watson. My theory is that Mar Novu altered reality where nobody knows Oliver is the Green Arrow and where Agent Watson didn't get to prove Oliver is the Arrow.
2.How Are The Dead Back?-I kept wondering how Moira and Malcolm and Tommy are back. At the start of the trailer, Oliver is seen holding a picture of Mia and Felicity. What if all the events of the past seasons happened like Oliver and Felicity giving birth to Mia as well as forming the team happened. It's new reality where certain characters have memories of their old reality. My theory in Starling City is that Tommy is the Dark Archer seeking to destroy the Glades to avenge his mother's death and is angry at Malcolm for dropping his grudge to be with Moira. We saw Moira and Malcolm acting like a couple and it seems Tommy has a disdain for Oliver in the trailer, like at that party. Perhaps Tommy is jealous of Malcolm's attention towards Oliver. It'll be really interesting to see that. As for Adrian Chase, perhaps he is a good guy in this universe. Thea can be mentioned by Tommy in that episode as to having left Starling City with Roy to destroy the Lazarus Pits with Nyssa and that Malcolm both Thea as well as Tommy before dropping his grudge. I don't know.
