Welcome

Hi, welcome to Arrowverse Wiki! Thanks for your edit to the Russell Glosson page.

Please leave a message on my talk page if I can help with anything! Wraiyf (talk) 02:07, January 25, 2016 (UTC)

Images

We only crop when necessary, such as when too small when in full size. The shot wasn't that small. Also, you must license and categorize your images.TIMESHADE |T - C| 02:58, February 11, 2016 (UTC)

^.TIMESHADE |T - C| 22:02, February 12, 2016 (UTC)
You should also view our image policies. Also, please don't upload an image if it already exists on the wiki.TIMESHADE |T - C| 20:11, February 16, 2016 (UTC)
FYI, only admins can delete pages and files so i'd think twice before constantly reuploading. Also, follow our policies or i may have to issue a block.TIMESHADE |T - C| 21:48, February 16, 2016 (UTC)
I said only admins could delete them and I'm an admin. I delete images you uploaded due to them being against our image policies or duplicate images and you keep re uploading images I delete.TIMESHADE |T - C| 05:06, February 20, 2016 (UTC)

Interwiki links

It cut me halfway through my edit summary so I'll leave it here. When a link is added starting with stuff like "es", "pl","fr", etc, it's not spam. They are linking to the article on an interlanguage wiki.TIMESHADE |T - C| 07:25, March 17, 2016 (UTC)

Preferred markup

If you could, please stop adding "|1=" to scroll lists; although it works, it's not preferred markup and just makes it harder to read. Not including it will still work. —MakeShift (talk page) 11:14, March 24, 2016 (UTC)

Edit war

Please stop edit warring with everyone. If you can't tell, everything else on that list is already by alphabetic order.TIMESHADE |T - C| 03:05, April 18, 2016 (UTC)

Source

For production pages, we do allow content to be added early...so long as it is sourced. We couldn't care less what is seen or heard in a preview, must have a news source that says so.TIMESHADE |T - C| 03:09, April 18, 2016 (UTC)

Image policies

Images should be in it's original quality unless needed to be cropped. In the scenario of the Vibe image, it should be 1280x720p. You also need to edit the licensing so it would look like this: {{image-screenshot|Versus Zoom}}. Lastly, for character infobox pictures, we don't upload an image under a new name, you just overwrite the current image.TIMESHADE |T - C| 00:29, April 24, 2016 (UTC)

Block

You keep ignoring everything an administrator says. I had no choice but to issue a 3 day block.TIMESHADE |T - C| 18:48, April 24, 2016 (UTC)

Hunter and his time remnant

If you payed attention to the show, you'd know the time remnant was ONLY when he needed to kill him. I've written it that way before in the merge because I've triple checked my info. Also, stop removing warnings, they stay there.TIMESHADE |T - C| 08:21, May 8, 2016 (UTC)

I wasn't the one who made that edit I checked the history and ok I won't remove warnings it just looked neater with them gone.
It looked like it was you in this revision. As for cleaner talk pages, what I do when my talk pages get overcrowded, I archive them by moving it into a subpage of my talk page.TIMESHADE |T - C| 20:59, May 8, 2016 (UTC)\

RE:Secret identitiies

Everything seems fine for me. Not sure why it's like that for you.TIMESHADE |T - C| 22:14, July 15, 2016 (UTC)

Source

Please source information. Also, check if similar information is already added. You could've just added on to the content that was already there, which was also sourced.TIMESHADE |T - C| 02:25, July 24, 2016 (UTC)

Sourcing

It seems you're confused how to source. If you're ever unsure, please ask me or another admin, or even a user who has demonstrated they know how to properly source. The ref tags don't go under the references header. Under the references header, you add <references/>. You add the ref tags next to the content that needs to be cited, and it would add a footnote under references. Got any other questions? Don't hesitate to ask.TIMESHADE |T - C| 03:49, July 24, 2016 (UTC)

Apperances

Please stop adding appearances until the episode airs. It still remains a violation of our spoiler policy, doesn't matter if the episode is airing in 30 minutes.TIMESHADE |T - C| 23:33, October 4, 2016 (UTC)

I'm not sure what part of this don't you get. I've issued a 2 hour block as a warning. Next time, it may be longer.TIMESHADE |T - C| 23:53, October 5, 2016 (UTC)

Canon

Just because a few things were retconned on the show, doesn't mean everything from the tie-in comic isn't canon. Based on that logic, season 2 of Arrow is no longer canon because, on The Flash, it showed Barry was back in Central City during the day of the PA explosion, while on Arrow, he just arrived back at Central City when he got struck by lightning.TIMESHADE |T - C| 20:13, October 6, 2016 (UTC)

Adding "1=" to Scroll

It's annoying, and also unnecessary to do so, as you can simply bypass it by not including it. —MakeShift (talk page) 02:27, October 14, 2016 (UTC)

When you're editing lists using the "Scroll" template, you don't need to add the "1=" parameter in, it's redundant. —MakeShift (talk page) 05:52, October 14, 2016 (UTC)

Alphabetical

I'm not sure how you're arranging people in a list, but generally we sort them by their last name (or in the case of only having one name, just that name). The only exception to this rule is if they're placed in terms of hierarchy (eg. in a company or the leader of a team first). —MakeShift (talk page) 01:19, October 15, 2016 (UTC)

Secret identities

Hi. I have a question. Why did you remove my edits on the Secret identities (about Andy and Dr. Schwartz, who was named in Canary Cry) page. I'd just like to know the reason. I'll put it back for now because I know they're facts, but if you're also certain they're not, feel free to take them off again as long as you explain why. If I'm unconvinced, then maybe I'll bring it to the attention of an admin. Thanks. ~ redwall64 13:58, October 19, 2016 (UTC)

Continually adding "|1=" to the Scroll template

Please, stop. You're still doing it. What you're doing is redundant and a pain to clean up, so stop. It might be due to visual editor, in which case I'd recommend that you try to avoid using visual editor, as it creates more problems than it solves. —MakeShift (talk page) 02:44, October 22, 2016 (UTC)

Spoiler policy

Hey there, I'll just direct you to this section of our spoiler policy. All the work you've done adding "The New Rogues" to appearances is terrific, but make sure you wait to after the airing of an episode to do it. —MakeShift (talk page) 00:48, October 26, 2016 (UTC)

I'll repeat this, because you're breaking our spoiler policy. Do it again and I'll block you outright. —MakeShift (talk page) 01:30, December 2, 2016 (UTC)

Main antagonists in bold

Putting the names of main antagonists in bold on team pages isn't a thing we do. People have been adding it, but we discourage it and don't like it to be done. —MakeShift (talk page) 04:36, December 20, 2016 (UTC)

Edit war

Please don't have long edit wars with other users. The proper way is to use the talk page to discuss the issue, that's the only reason for talk pages, discussing the content of an article. It's a tough argument with that Speed Force article but ultimately having him as The Flash was right, as he was E2's own Flash, even having statues in his name. Yes, it's pretend but the fact is, there was no other Flash. If you continue any edit wars in the future without using the talk page and simply undoing edits non stop, blocks will be issued to all parties involved.TIMESHADE |T - C| 00:05, January 9, 2017 (UTC)

Wait

Please wait for episodes to finish airing before adding anything, including appearances. It's not a race to edit first.TIMESHADE |T - C| 01:23, January 26, 2017 (UTC)

Seriously, please wait for the episode to finish airing.TIMESHADE |T - C| 01:38, January 26, 2017 (UTC)
Final warning, wait until an episode is completely finished before editing appearances sections.TIMESHADE |T - C| 01:44, January 26, 2017 (UTC)

Replacing images

Is there any reason you're replacing images with the exact same one?TIMESHADE |T - C| 21:04, January 28, 2017 (UTC)

It's not written but if the file is actually like that, then there is the exception that it doesn't have to be exactly 1280x720p. Sometimes video files are smaller or bigger in height. That's the resolution you get when you use the snapshot function on VLC.TIMESHADE |T - C| 08:48, February 1, 2017 (UTC)

Edit War

Could you please stop reverting my edits. That is how each actor is credited. What's your point? HotheadedBirdy (talk) 01:26, February 3, 2017 (UTC)

Images

If the Blu-ray is available, then 1080p is allowed. You should take a look at the policies again.TIMESHADE |T - C| 05:18, February 17, 2017 (UTC)

Out of hand

The argument over the speed force article got out of hand, especially over just the order it should be set it. Arguably, both sides has their points. But since both sides are equally as guilty, I'll let it slide if both of you apologize to each other and discuss the matter in a civil manner on the Speed Force talk page. A similar message is being sent to PurpleComet.TIMESHADE |T - C| 08:35, March 4, 2017 (UTC)

Hi I just saw that you said to the new user Purple Comet 19  that I was the one, who got the Speed Force page locked in January. That is not true at all. You were the one, who was constantly undoing my edit and at the end the admins agreed with me that even though it was pretend Hunter Zolomon was still the Flash of Earth Two, which means that I was right and you were wrong. It was not my fault that the Speed Force page was locked, it was yours.Ninja72 (talk) 10:17, March 4, 2017 (UTC)

Literally laughing at Ninja72's reply. I was puzzled when Gamingbeaster said you were responsible for the lock, when the pages history, clearly states otherwise.  LMAO  Gamingbeaster, you're a joke man! How you've survived on wikia this long beats me! Atleast have the decency to admit your mistakes when confronted about it instead of blaming another individual for it.  =  PurpleComet 19 10:22, March 4, 2017 (UTC)

RE:You are wrong

I know that Timeshade only agreed with me about the Earth Two Flash,  not about the edit war. I am not acting like I am perfect and I know that I am not. As for the "at first you were undoing my edit without giving me an explanation", you were not giving me an explanation for removing The Flash part either. And should I remind you that back then you said "remember, when you got the Damien Darhk page locked"?  Although that is true you were as guilty for the Damien Darhk page being locked as I was. So, if anyone here is acting like he is perfect, that is you not me.Ninja72 (talk) 16:40, March 4, 2017 (UTC)

I brought the Damien Darhk page up, because back in January, when we were edit warring, you said "remember, when the Damien Darhk page was locked, because of you". If you do not remember, see this http://arrow.wikia.com/wiki/Speed_Force?diff=220625&oldid=220548. As for the "you were supposed to give me an explanation first, considering that you removed it first", no you were supposed to give an explanation first, when you removed "The Flash" part for the first time.Ninja72 (talk) 17:18, March 4, 2017 (UTC)

I'm Sorry

I just wanted to reply about what you wrote in my "request for content moderator" page. I didn't say that I am the only one who edit the appearance sections and that no one else does it. I said that this is what I mostly do on this wiki. I love edit the appearance sections and fix it when it's necessary, and I'm really happy that I am not the only one. I'm sorry if I offended you. Itamar20112 (talk) 12:35, March 9, 2017 (UTC)

Deleting my edits

Hello, I was roaming the wiki when I noticed that you had undid my additions to the Jax and Gideon pages a while ago. Is there a reason why? I thought they were decent additions to their bios. They were just basic paragraphs about what those characters did in those two episodes and I cited each paragraph with whichever episode the info was from, so I'm oblivious as to what was so wrong with them that they warranted deletion.Thrawn's Padawan (talk) 08:29, March 12, 2017 (UTC)

I think he intended to undo an earlier edit on the page but as a result acccidentally removed the content you wrote.TIMESHADE |T - C| 08:38, March 12, 2017 (UTC)

Ok, no worries. :) Thrawn's Padawan (talk) 00:42, March 13, 2017 (UTC)

As alterego is only needed for appearences, not mentions.

Many characters are mentioned as their alteregos and yet it does not say as alterego in the appearences section. It is only done so, when they appear as their alterego, not for when they are mentioned as their alterego. There is no other page, where we have the mentioned as alterego, so your argument it is just like every other character is invalid. It is redundant to do it for mentions Also stop being a hypocrite by saying that I editwar with everyone.  I mean, you yourself have several warnings for editwar  Ninja72 (talk) 15:22, November 22, 2017 (UTC)

Samuroid

Are you sure about Samuroid appearance on Don't Run not being a mention? A samurai robot was seen in the background of Clifford DeVoe's sanctuary, but Samuroid is for now a nickname of one particular unit, which is destroyed and is partially seen in S.T.A.R. Labs. Barry mentioned that particular one, but we haven't seen him, just DeVoe's spare. --Тостер (talk) 18:13, December 10, 2017 (UTC)

RE: Discord

Back then, I blocked you, because I knew that you will probably see it and DM me about and I was not in the mood to have another argument with you. As for your edit, I did not undo it just to get under your skin. Stop thinking I do everything just to annoy other people. Back, when you first removed that category, I intended to undo it, but wanted to ask the admins first, and I did, but I realized I was violating the 24 hour window and deleted my messages. I was intending to ask them again, and later I saw that MakeShift had undone it. By the way, how do you know the judge was blackmailed? That was never said in the show. Also, stop acting like I am not allowed to undo edits I disagree with like everyone else is. If I am not rude or edit-warring, then it is completely fine. Moreover, If I was looking at your contributions page all the time, I would have noticed it undone it the day you did it, but I undid it a whole week later. "You really make this wikia frustrating for a lot of users" What have I done during the past few months? What? I have not been edit-warring, I have not been acting towards others the way I did before I got my warning, I am not "spamming" the activity feed anymore. I have been here for two years and a half and on wikia as a whole for over three years, if I was that super awful editor, who only causes trouble and does absolutely nothing useful that you say I am, I would have been blocked permanently by now and not just here, but on every other wiki I edit.Ninja72 (talk) 07:55, August 7, 2018 (UTC)

"Looking at your contributions history you have undone many edits" Again, I am allowed to undo something I disagree with as long as I am not rude or edit-warring. If someone adds the edit I undid back, I ask an admin to decide who is right and do not just undo again. If you think, I have done something wrong that deserves another warning or a block, just report me to one of the admins. Now, regarding the judge, well, like you said the computer technician, the DA and the police captain were said to be blackmailed. Nobody else was. For all we know, the rest of the Star City was working for him, because he was paying them. Yes, we saw the judge begging Diaz not to kill him, but he might have just known that Diaz will kill him if he fails, when he agreed to work with him.Ninja72 (talk) 09:26, August 8, 2018 (UTC)

The reason I said "report me to one of the admins if you think I have done something wrong" was because I was tired of arguments with you and just wanted you not to message me next time you think I have done something wrong. Also, regarding the "you cry when you do not get your way," remember the James Jesse image situation in January, after TimeShade told me that both images work I just left it alone. There is also this situation https://arrow.wikia.com/wiki/Talk:Anatoly_Knyazev. "I know you do not care about the еdit", look, if I did not care I would not have left an edit summary at all.Ninja72 (talk) 08:01, August 9, 2018 (UTC)

This is getting too far on both ends. I suggest boh of you stop if you cant discuss the case in a more civil manner because right now it's going no where but attacks. Do we really want bad blood on the wiki? TIMESHADE |T - C| 08:23, August 9, 2018 (UTC)

Constantine

Hey, just to let you know. We do not add the ====Season 1==== under the Constantine tag in appearances/credits since there was only one season. If you have issues with this, please ask TimeShade or MakeShift.

Mentioned before, but where?

Hey, I just wanted to let you know of a new-ish feature to the Ep template. Instead of typing out (mentioned) every time, you can save time by just placing an m. For example {{Ep|Nora|m}} produces "Nora(mentioned). Thanks,

Characters and time travel

Just a heads up, there's no need to put things like "past" in parentheses in appearance sections to denote past versions of characters, or particular years. They appeared, even if it was an older version of such characters, or in a different time, they're still the exact same characters. —MakeShift (talk page) 10:21, December 5, 2018 (UTC)

Flashbacks refer moreso to the framing device of the plot. Characters can not have flashbacks, they can have visions though. We are still following the characters in their current state: the episode is not flashing back. —MakeShift (talk page) 02:21, December 13, 2018 (UTC)

Ricardo Diaz

This is the second time you undid my edit to Diaz after the episode aired and then did it yourself. Are you wanting to do it yourself and don't want anyone else to do it?

What's the difference between a vision and a hallucination?

Suit/No

You were right, I was wrong. Here. No reason to keep hating on that subject. I will ask an admin just to make sure, but after that, you can go celebrate. Itamar_A (talk) 11:45, January 30, 2019 (UTC)

Spoiler policy

You've been warned before, stop adding information on an episode, however minor, until the episode is finished airing. —MakeShift (talk page) 02:02, February 12, 2019 (UTC)

Whoops, my apologies, I was getting time zones mixed up, sorry about that! —MakeShift (talk page) 02:05, February 12, 2019 (UTC)
No, as I said, it was a simple mixup, I do apologise. It was definitely out of character, trust me, I was as confused as the next guy, so thank you for the work. —MakeShift (talk page) 02:11, February 12, 2019 (UTC)

RE: Future

Then why do we add it for flashbacks and flashforwards? I understand not doing it for the Legends episodes/characters, but there is a clear difference between visiting Iron Heights in 2049 versus actually going there in a given episode. $ \int $ IHH dt    17:02, Oct 15, 2019 (UTC)

Fixing Nip/Stuck

Hey, thanks for fixing those. We were going to have the bot run and do it since it is such a tedious task. Next time, just ask an admin if that is the plan. It'll save you (and everyone else) a lot of time! Thanks, $ \int $ IHH dt    17:02, Oct 15, 2019 (UTC)
