RE:Out of Time

Regarding your comment on MakeShift's talk page, the guest starring bill is strictly for opening credits, we don't include end credits.TIMESHADE @fandom |Talk/Wall| - |C| 21:36, October 15, 2016 (UTC)

How come? Usually Guest Starring or Special Guest Star sometimes makes an appearance in the end credits for some episodes of a TV show.HotheadedBirdy (talk) 23:36, October 15, 2016 (UTC)
We are aware of that, we use end credits to name a lot of characters on here that aren't exactly named on the show. The reason we exclude it from guest stars is because the param clearly says "guest stars", while the end credits billing is "co-stars". It's just how we've done things for a long time. However, we may start doing full cast sections on episode pages, so all credited actors will get listed in a separate section from infobox.TIMESHADE @fandom |Talk/Wall| - |C| 00:12, October 16, 2016 (UTC)
I think its long overdue but I like the idea cause most wikis adds in all the cast credits for each ep instead of the usual guest section in the infobox. But it may be a while until further notice.HotheadedBirdy (talk) 20:36, October 16, 2016 (UTC)

Please be mindful to keep speculation off any content page. Yes, it's a popular theory, but we don't add that. Yes, his last name is Alchemy's first name in the comics, still no speculation allowed. Additionally, it wasn't really confirmed he's a meta.TIMESHADE @fandom |Talk/Wall| - |C| 00:22, October 26, 2016 (UTC)

I was undoing someone's edit because he or she removed the uncredited bill off of Tobin Bell since he is not credited in this episode. Did not see the speculation there even though I was trying to clear up some vandalism when I clicked the undo button.HotheadedBirdy (talk) 06:38, October 26, 2016 (UTC)

Because it was confirmed by producers that Arrowverse's Constantine shares continuity with NBC's version. Supergirl is on a different earth, with no information of it established on an Arrowverse show. We might add it in the future, depending on a discussion after the Big crossover, where we would be getting stuff explained on an Arrowverse show.TIMESHADE @fandom |Talk/Wall| - |C| 03:16, November 21, 2016 (UTC)

I do know that Supergirl has its own wiki site and so does Constantine.HotheadedBirdy (talk) 03:40, November 21, 2016 (UTC)
After Constantine was confirmed to be moved to the Arrowverse, and since I was too busy to run the wiki at the time, I had an agreement with the admins of this wiki to move the main source for all things NBC Constantine to this wiki. OmegaWulfgar (talk) 20:03, December 8, 2016 (UTC)

Spoiler policy

Try reading our spoiler policy. Then you'll understand why we're not adding her name yet. —MakeShift (talk page) 06:36, December 1, 2016 (UTC)

Nevermind. I was going to add Lily Stein after the press confirmed the role Christina Brucato is playing.HotheadedBirdy (talk) 22:49, December 8, 2016 (UTC)

Undoing edits

I'm confused, why did you do this edit? It was nothing but unproductive and undid a productive edit. —MakeShift (talk page) 00:59, December 9, 2016 (UTC)

I accidentally clicked the undo part in the history section instead of going straight to the edit section while I was making a minor edit. I am so sorry about it.HotheadedBirdy (talk) 01:01, December 9, 2016 (UTC)
You still have to publish the edit, so please don't do it again in future. Also, mentioning or linking my username doesn't notify me at all. —MakeShift (talk page) 01:37, December 9, 2016 (UTC)
I was trying to figure out a way to reply to this message. Don't worry I just removed your name out of my previous message. Not easy learning the ropes. HotheadedBirdy (talk) 01:41, December 9, 2016 (UTC)

Season pages

I know you mean well but having anyone who has ever appeared in the cast section will make it more cluttered than it should be. It was fine earlier. Like we've said before, we may be using that format on episode pages in the near future, just not on season pages.TIMESHADE @fandom |Talk/Wall| - |C| 19:41, December 9, 2016 (UTC)

How about dividing each cast section into columns. Are you OK with that?HotheadedBirdy (talk) 02:26, December 21, 2016 (UTC)

Adding content while airing

Please don't add things while they're still airing. Even something as simple as a credit should wait until the episode is over. —MakeShift (talk page) 01:27, January 24, 2017 (UTC)

I got an idea, if you like it or not. I was thinking about adding the symbols outside of each actor's name in the guest bill while watch the ep live. Then once the ep is done, depending on the time zone, I can remove them completely. You mostly see them on most wikipedias where someone adds them to a summary in order to prevent future spoilers from happening. They have look like these <!-- -->. Had to space each one of them so that they appear. HotheadedBirdy (talk) 00:45, January 26, 2017 (UTC)
You can also be patient. It's not a race to make an edit first.TIMESHADE @fandom |Talk/Wall| - |C| 00:52, January 26, 2017 (UTC)
Oh no, no, no, no I am not trying to be first in anything. Just paying attention, that's all. HotheadedBirdy (talk) 00:55, January 26, 2017 (UTC)
You can have everything ready and only publish the episode right as episode concludes. Also, the image you uploaded was removed as it violates our image policies. Read them here to learn more about them.TIMESHADE @fandom |Talk/Wall| - |C| 01:00, January 26, 2017 (UTC)

RE: Edit War

You're adding content that is not necessary, not all those actors and actresses need to be on that page as they are not meant for it. You were doing that months ago and you were constantly adding information that was just not needed. Another user and myself had to tell you stop doing it. If you want to add specific actors and actresses to a page, than do so on the episode page they acted in. So please stop doing it. Gamingbeaster (talk) 01:34, February 3, 2017 (UTC)

So what, most wikis have the same format. It's called expanding thank you very much.HotheadedBirdy (talk) 03:44, February 3, 2017 (UTC)
And not all wikis are the same. Gamingbeaster is right, it's incredibly unnecessary to include all of them on the show's page. Your work is appreciated, but it's not needed. —MakeShift (talk page) 03:49, February 3, 2017 (UTC)
Look, I was just helping out by adding missing content to this wiki. That's all.HotheadedBirdy (talk) 18:04, February 4, 2017 (UTC)
It's not really "missing content" but ok. Gamingbeaster (talk) 01:34, February 6, 2017 (UTC)

RE: End cards

Ahh apologies, I didn't mean to, I'd been making an edit before and must have accidentally removed it. —MakeShift (talk page) 05:19, February 9, 2017 (UTC)

That's okay. I thought it was unessasary but it's just one episode they would do the tie-in because of the LEGO/Warner Bros. relationship. HotheadedBirdy (talk) 05:23, February 9, 2017 (UTC)

Jack Moore

I was wondering if it would be okay to add Jack Moore to the recurring cast but with brackets indicating he is a recurring co-star?

For example:

  • Jack Moore as William Clayton (recurring co-star). Chinkycandie (talk) 23:36, October 20, 2017 (UTC)
That's not how this wiki work. They don't include co-stars in the recurring section because that creates confusion as to who's credited in either guest starring or co-starring. The latter bill appears in the end credits. HotheadedBirdy (talk) 00:41, October 24, 2017 (UTC)

I know how the co-star bills work. The official sypnosis considers Jack to be a guest, although he's billed as a co-star. The sypnosis should be considered. Chinkycandie (talk) 06:50, October 24, 2017 (UTC)

No cause sometimes it can be billed as an error. HotheadedBirdy (talk) 23:55, October 24, 2017 (UTC)

Special guest star/Special appearance by

Please, with upcoming episodes, don't keep adding in such things as "special guest star" and "special appearance by" in the guest star value if the actors haven't been credited as such in the source. Sure, they've been credited as that previously, but it's always possible it may change. —MakeShift (talk page) 02:05, November 17, 2017 (UTC)

Diggle/Green Arrow

For the time being, Diggle is technically still the new Green Arrow, he's just taking a break to recover, so until he reverts to Spartan, keep Green Arrow added.TIMESHADE @fandom |Talk/Wall| - |C| 19:04, December 19, 2017 (UTC)

I thought its one of those users who keep adding it. Normally it lasts like one season.HotheadedBirdy (talk) 06:11, December 25, 2017 (UTC)

"It lasts like one season normally". Um, no it does not. If a character has a new alterego, but we know it is gonna be temporary, we add it for now, and remove it after he reverts back to his previous alterego.Ninja72 (talk) 09:31, January 3, 2018 (UTC)

Sory for being so rude, its just that I was very frustrated, because this was like the sixth time I had to add Green Arrow, but I shouldnt have been so rude, so I am sorry.Ninja72 (talk) 09:28, January 3, 2018 (UTC)

Look, once again, I am sorry. I know I had no right to behave the way I did. I do not usually behave like that, this was the first time I have attacked another user of the wiki like that, ask TimeShade if you want to.Ninja72 (talk) 22:38, January 4, 2018 (UTC)
