Virginia is a state in the United States of Earth-1. The state borders North Carolina to the south, Tennessee to the west, West Virginia to the north-west, and Maryland to the north, while the USA's capital of the District of Columbia (also including the Pentagon) lies between Maryland and Virginia. The Atlantic Ocean lies to the state's east coast.

At some point, Virginia became a state of the United States. Sometime after this, the state was labeled on a map used by Chas Chandler.[1]

When A.R.G.U.S. arrived in Starling City, Frank Pike was quick to realize it wasn't the National Guard as Monument Point, Virginia is 300 miles from Starling City, Washington.[3]
Mark Mardon attempted to destroy the city of Monument Point with a tsunami[4] but was thwarted and stopped by The Flash, Firestorm and Vixen.[5]
Monument Point was one of the targets of the Rubicon protocol, reprogrammed by H.I.V.E.. As a metropolis, it was populated by millions of people, all of which would die from a Russian nuclear missile that Noah Kuttler wasn't able to deactivate. Felicity Smoak tried to change Monument Point's own GPS location so that the nuke would go on the wrong course, but only managed to change the target to Havenrock instead, ending with tens of thousands of victims - that included Rory Regan's entire family; save for him as he was protected by the Devarim rags.[6]
