- "Come with me, Mick Rory, and I promise you'll have plenty of beer to drink and stories to tell. The multiverse needs saving, and its heroes need a ship."
"Hmm. You had me at beer." - —Lyla Michaels and Mick Rory[src]
The Waverider is a timeship formerly utilized by the Legends of Earth-74.
History[]
The Waverider was used by the Legends; its A.I. interface was that of 'Leonard'. However, they eventually retired, and Mick Rory took the timeship for himself. He was eventually met by the Harbinger, who sought the ship to use to help stop the Anti-Monitor, to which he agreed.[1]
The timeship flew to various Earths such as Earth-96, but as were the Earths, it was destroyed by the same antimatter wave that swallowed Earth-1; Pariah managed to save the seven Paragons before the time ship and the rest of the crew were consumed by the Anti-Monitor's wave, who possessed Harbinger to take control of the antimatter.
It was the stage for the last stand of the heroes of the multiverse (after the Paragons were teleported away by Pariah) before it was destroyed by an antimatter wave 28 seconds after the destruction of the Earth of the final universe, Earth-1.[2]
