Coleman (Bruno Mannheim), Dylan Walsh (Sam Lane) and Emmanuelle Chriqui (Lana Lang) as series regulars.
  • This makes the largest exit of series regulars across all Arrowverse shows.
• Del Portenza was mentioned by Clark to have taken over Luthor Corp after Lex Luthor was falsely imprisoned, a likely reference to the DC comics character Erica Alexandra del Portenza. Known as a Contessa, she assumed leadership of LexCorp after Lex was publicly disgraced and was briefly Lex's wife. Erica is also the mother of their daughter, Lena Luthor.
  • It is revealed in Season 4 that their daughter's name was changed to Elizabeth for the series. As well as Erica's position of being in charge of Luthor Corp being abandoned.
• The use of the song “Blow Up the Outside World” is used to demonstrate that Superman cannot kill Doomsday, however can be briefly killed by Doomsday.
• The title is a reference to the old saying, "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger".
• This episode takes place 32 days after the events of "Injustice".
