Synopsis
JOE AND CISCO TRAVEL TO STARLING CITY FOR ANSWERS ABOUT DR. WELLS — Joe and Cisco head to Starling City to continue their investigation of Dr. Wells. While in town, the duo enlists the help of Captain Lance and Cisco meets the Black Canary, who asks him for a favor. Meanwhile, back in Central City, Barry races to catch a meta-human named Hannibal Bates who can transform himself into every person he touches – which includes Eddie, Iris, Caitlin and even The Flash.[1]
Production
Preparation began February 2, 2015 and ran until February 11, 2015. Shooting began February 12, 2015 and ran until February 24, 2015.[2]
Trivia
- Coast City is briefly seen for the first time in Arrow and The Flash. Previously the city had only been mentioned.
- This episode marks the only appearance of Quentin and the Earth-One Laurel Lance on The Flash. The Earth-Two version of Laurel will later appear on the show.
- The billboard "Welcome to Coast City" represents Ferris Air which in DC Comics, employs the Modern Age Green Lantern Hal Jordan.
- Quentin tells Joe that Laurel has kept something from him for months. Even though he doesn't mention what it is. He is referring to Laurel keeping Sara's death a secret from him, which is a major event in Season 3 of Arrow.
- This is the only episode of the Arrowverse to feature Laurel Lance without Oliver Queen. Quentin Lance will later appear without Oliver in "Last Refuge" and "Legendary".
