- "Me thought I heard a voice cry, 'Sleep no more!'"
- —Henry Stein quoting William Shakespeare[src]
William Shakespeare was an English poet and playwright.
Biography
At some point, William Shakespeare wrote the plays A Midsummer Night's Dream, Richard III,[1] Hamlet,[2] and Romeo and Juliet.[3][4]
In 1594, William Shakespeare wrote Romeo and Juliet. Due to the interference of the Legends, who went to him to get a piece of the Loom of Fate that he was holding for Clotho, it turned into Romeo v. Juliet Dawn of Justness. Later, Sara Lance and the Legends corrected the anachronism.[4]
Legacy
In 1895, Shakespearean actor Henry Stein quoted Shakespeare while capturing Nate Heywood. He was also known to star in the play Richard III.[5]

In October 2012, Felicity Smoak referenced Hamlet when telling Oliver Queen she doesn't want to get involved in his potential "Shakespearean family drama". Oliver simply replied he didn't study Shakespeare in college.[2]
In 2014, A Midsummer Night's Dream was performed in Fox Theatre in Atlanta during the incident with a supposed viral outbreak (actually a possession by demon Mnemoth).[1]
In late 2018, Kara Danvers noticed that Kate Kane had a bust of William Shakespeare on her desk at Wayne Tower.[6]
